Privacy Policy

Tough Love Meal Prep prepares and delivers meals across New Jersey. When this policy says “we” it means Tough Love Meal Prep, and “you” means anyone using our website or ordering from us.

Account and contact details. Your name, email address, phone number, and the delivery address and drop-off instructions you give us.

Order information. What you ordered, when, what you paid, your delivery days, meal preferences, and any store credit on your account.

Dietary information. Allergens, dislikes, and dietary preferences you tell us, so the kitchen can cook for you safely.

Health and body measurements — only if you use our wellness service. This is the most sensitive information we hold, and we only hold it if you choose to take part:

• InBody scan results — weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass, body water, BMI, basal metabolic rate, and visceral fat level
• Height, age and sex, which the scan needs to produce those results
• Weight entries you log over time
• Progress photos you choose to upload
• Your goals, including a target weight if you set one

Payment information. Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our systems — we store only the result of the payment and the last four digits Stripe returns.

Communication preferences. Whether you agreed to receive text messages, when you answered, and the wording you were shown at the time.

We do not use advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or third-party marketing cookies on this website. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

We set four cookies, all of them necessary for the site to work: one keeps you signed in, one remembers your cart, one holds sign-up details between steps, and one helps pages load faster. There are no advertising or analytics cookies to opt out of.

• To take, cook, and deliver your orders
• To keep you informed about your order — by email, and by text if you asked us to
• To cook around your allergens and preferences
• To show you your wellness data and build meal plans around your goals, if you use that service
• To take payment and apply any store credit you hold
• To answer you when you contact us
• To meet our legal and tax obligations

We only text you if you told us we could. You can stop at any time by replying STOP, or by changing the setting in your account. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying from us.

We share the minimum needed to run the business, and only with companies working for us:

• Stripe, to take payment
• Our delivery drivers, who see your name, address, phone number and drop-off instructions
• Our email and text messaging providers, to send the messages you asked for
• Our hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell your data.

We keep order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Account details are kept while your account is open. Wellness data — including scans, weight history and progress photos — is kept while you use the wellness service, and you can ask us to delete it at any time without closing your account.

• Ask for a copy of what we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your account, or just your wellness data
• Stop text messages by replying STOP, or emails by using the unsubscribe link
• Ask a question about any of the above and get a real answer

This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. If the change is significant, we will tell you directly.
